Puertomar Tres is situated 15 km along La Manga strip which is on the Costa Calida in the south east of Spain.  There are two good supermarkets close by which both have a good selection of fresh seafood. The Tomas Maestre marina is a 15 minute walk away and has lots of bars and restaurants and boasts excellent views of the Mar Menor.

This apartment is furnished to a very high standard and consists of a lounge with sofa bed and dining table area and a kitchen with electrical appliances and everything you will need for home-from-home living.  There are 2 double bedrooms, allowing the apartment to sleep 6 people comfortably, and a family bathroom.

The apartment has fantastic views of the marina from the balcony and of the Mediterranean from the bedroom window. As well as a large communal pool and children's pool there is also a gymnasium for the use of residents under block 2 and there is secure underground parking accessed by an electric fob.
 
La Manga starts at Cabo de Palos on the mainland and ends at Veneziola 18 km away. The Roda beach club is a new addition in Veneziola and is a superb place to enjoy a drink and enjoy the views back over at the mainland. For golfers there is the world famous La Manga golf course about 25 minutes away by car plus other great golf courses too.

There are two beaches to choose from when leaving the apartment. The Med side is only a 2 minute walk away and Playa Chica is about 6 minutes away. This is on the Mar Menor side and has an all year round average temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. This beach is popular with people enjoying the beneficial thermal mud used by the 5 star hotels for ailments such as rheumatism!!

At the marina you can find a very good ferry service which takes you to the mainland in 30 minutes for only 4 Euros. This service runs all year and the town is called Santiago de la Ribera which has a great market on Wednesdays and is only a 5 minute taxi ride to Murcia airport.

Also at the marina is a diving school which is just one of the activities you can find in La Manga along with kite surfing, jet skiing and canoeing. Recently planning permission has been granted for a second marina to be built on the med side of the apartment. When completed this will be Europe's largest open water marina.
